Clinic FAQs

How do I know what clinic topics the artists offer?

View our clinicians pages listed by catagory to the right. If you don't find a specific subject covered, ask the clinician if they would tailor a clinic to your needs. The Jupiter clinicians are committed to working with you to achieve the goals you have set for your band.

What can the Educational Grant be used for?

Grant money covers a portion of the artist's fee for an educational clinic involving students. It does not apply to adjudications or guest performances unless these events also include a student clinic, and it does not cover transportation costs.

Does the Educational Grant pay the entire artist fee?

The grand will supplement the costs but will not cover the entire clinic fee or costs related to tranportation.

Is the Educational Grant payable to my school or is it paid directly to the artist?

The portion of the clinic fee to be covered by the grant will be paid directly to the artist by Jupiter Band Instuments, Inc. The balance of the costs will be the responsibility of the host and will be paid directly to the artist by them.

Do grants cover performances or contest adjudications?

Educational Grants are applicable to educational clinics involving students. Concerts, solo guest performances and adjudications are not covered unless they also include a clinic.
