Max Dvorin

• BIO

  Max Dvorin is an American woodwind doubler who resides in Nashville, TN. Max was born in Avon, CT and went to William Hall High School in West Hartford, CT. His father, a woodwind doubler and jazz musician, introduced Max to music at an early age. In his senior year of high school (2014), Max was invited to perform with the All-American High School Band on clarinet in Nashville, Tennessee.
  
  Max enrolled at Belmont University in 2014 and graduated in 2018, with a Bachelor of Music degree in commercial saxophone. Max went back to Belmont in 2021 and earned his Master of Music Degree in Multiple Woodwinds with a concentration in flute in 2023.
  
  During Max’s undergraduate studies, he was the lead alto player in Jazz Band 1 for all four years as well as the principal clarinetist of the Belmont University Orchestra in both his junior and senior years. In his senior year, Max was one of the winners chosen to perform with the orchestra in the annual Classical Performers Concert as a soloist on clarinet. During his graduate studies, Max was the principal flutist of the Belmont University Orchestra.
  
  In 2018, after graduating from Belmont University, Max became a full time freelance musician and private music instructor in Nashville, TN. Teaching saxophone, clarinet, flute and oboe to students of all ages, Max enjoys sharing his love for music with his students, hoping to inspire and motivate them to achieve their very best on their instruments.
  
  Max has a home studio where he records for clients on all of the woodwinds. Other gigs Max does frequently involve big bands, corporate events, musical theater, weddings, music festivals, and religious services. Currently, Max also co-leads a monthly big band with some of the finest musicians in Nashville. Max is also able to contract various size groups with varying musical styles for all types of recording sessions, events, shows, and celebrations.
